Purpose
The primary goal of the course is to increase public servants’ basic knowledge of personal data protection. It is also recommended for representatives of the private sector, data protection officers from public and private institutions, officials responsible for ensuring freedom of information, and any citizen interested in the topic. The project includes visual, audio, and video content to help learners quickly grasp the material.
About the Developers and Implementers
The project was implemented in Armenia within the framework of the “Eastern Partnership Regional Fund for Public Administration Reforms” program by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), with funding from the Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation of Germany.
It results from close collaboration between the Agency for Personal Data Protection, the Office of the Civil Service, the E-Governance Infrastructure Implementation Agency (EKENG), and GIZ. The Freedom of Information Center of Armenia (FOICA), Avenue Consulting Group, and the Antrohus educational team were responsible for implementing the project.
About the Modules:
Each module contains various learning materials, including video slides, audio content, short audiovisual clips, and tests. Upon successful completion of all modules, participants can receive a certificate. Learners can choose their study method—whether to read the text first, watch the videos, or listen to the lessons through video slides and audio playback. Visuals throughout the text help illustrate key concepts for better understanding.
