The Project aims to enhance the strategic engagement between the local private sector, independent media, public sector, and other stakeholders in efforts that support healthy information spaces. The Project is supported by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE). The Project started in December 2024 and will end in July 2025.
The project is designed to carry out the following activities:
- Sustainable Platform for Dialogue: A collaborative platform between the Prime Minister’s Office and the private sector will be established to discuss the implementation of the National Strategy to Combat Disinformation and its accompanying Action Plan.
- Monitoring of the Concept: A monitoring tool and methodology will be developed to check the implementation of the National Strategy to Combat Disinformation. At least one monitoring report will be created and published.
- Accountability and Transparency of the Private Sector։ An online self-assessment guide for businesses will be developed to gauge how transparent and accountable they are and check if they’re handling ethics and security well in their operations. ‘Transparent and Accountable Business: Safety and Integrity’ workshops for medium-sized businesses will be organized to introduce the self-assessment guide and facilitate discussions on ensuring technical security and effective information management within the framework of accountability and transparency.
- Assistance Tool for the Private Sector to Protect the Integrity of the Information Space: A comprehensive guidebook tailored specifically for the private sector to equip them with the knowledge and tools necessary to promote information space integrity effectively.
