On June 30, the FOI Center filed a lawsuit with the RA Administrative Court, asking the court to order the leaders of the Armenian National Congress, Orinats Yerkir and Armenian Labor Socialist Party to provide information. Back in April, the FOI Center had requested the following information from the aforementioned political parties:
1. copies of the party’s 2008 financial report,
2. information about sources of donations in excess of 100-times the minimum wage as established by law.
Orinats Yerkir missed the deadline and provided incomplete information, while ANC and ALSP did not reply at all. The FOI Center had sent similar requests to the Armenian Republican Party, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation/Dashnaktsutyun and People’s Party, and had received complete replies.
