The Ministry of Justice gave a positive conclusion to the petition submitted by the FOICA aimed at increasing the amount of administrative responsibility for violating the right to information. The new draft based on the petition has been officially circulated in the platform of the drafts e-draft.am on January 20, 2022.

The draft proposes to impose an administrative fine for 30,000 to 70,000 drams for violation of the right to receive information, and in case of repeated violation – in the amount of 100,000 to 150,000 drams.
