These officials have violated the people’s access to information right in the 1st half of 2016
According to the RA Government N1204 decision (15.10.2015) accepted since January 1, 2016 FOI electronic request is considered to be an official request form.
- Mihran Poghosyan – Armenia’s Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer
On January 10, 2016 Freedom of Information Center sent a FOI electronic request to the Compulsory Enforcement Service and asked to provide information about expenses of the Service during 2014 and 2015 years, how much money was confiscated in favor of State Budget, legal and natural persons, and how much money was given to the Service by RA Government. The Compulsory Enforcement Service did not answer the request.

- Artem Asatryan- Minister of Labor and Social Issues of the Republic of Armenia
On February 23, 2016 Freedom of Information Center sent a written request to the Ministry of Labor and Social Issues and asked to provide information about Ministry’s email request for getting information. The ministry did not provide any information.

On March 17, 2016 Freedom of Information Center sent a FOI electronic request to the Commission asking for information about the Commission’s email request for getting information. The Commission did not provide Freedom of Information Center with any kind of information.

On March 16, 2016 Freedom of Information center sent a written request to the ministry of the Emergency Situations asking to provide information about the service cars of the ministry. The ministry provided the answer 20 days later.
