Freedom of Information Center of Armenia, upon the request of citizen Ashot Mnatsakanyan, has filed a written inquiry to the president of the Football Federation of Armenia asking to explain why Mnatsakanyan couldn’t watch Armenia-Czech Republic football match, while having a ticket.
The lawyer of FOICA Gevorg Hayrapetyan has made a request to report who or which organization was responsible for checking the tickets, organizing and creating conditions for the presence of the citizens having acquired tickets for the Armenia-Czech Republic football match on the 26th of March 2013.
The written inquiry indicates the following questions: “Will any material compensation be provided for the citizens who had bought tickets for the above-mentioned football match and weren’t allowed to enter the stadium? If yes, then which body or who will grant this compensation and with what procedure?”
Note that the answer to the written inquiry is given within 5 days after the application is filed according to the Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Freedom of Information.
This answer will help the injured party file a lawsuit in the court. Those who don’t get repayment have decided to go to the end in order to assert justice.
