In total 76 officials of information and public relations department took part in trainings on the freedom of information organized by Freedom of Information Center Armenia and Civil Service Council of the RA.

All the participants of the trainings mentioned that they do need such trainings on current topic and that they will use the given materials, knowledge and skills gained in these trainings in their everyday work. The majority notified that such trainings should be more regular in order much efficiency is guaranteed. Some pointed that it would be better to involve those who are authorized to make decisions.

76 participants were divided in three groups with 25 participants in each. Each group took part in one and a half day long trainings which lasted 8 hours. The trainings were held on 5-6; 12-13 and 21-22 May in Aghveran. All the participants received certificates signed by OSCE Ambassador, Chairman of Civil Service Council and FOICA president.

The trainings were organized according to the “Freedom of Information and Public Relations in Government System” curriculum. The project is supported by OSCE Office in Yerevan by the means of Government of Italy.
