Project Objectives
- Advance existing beneficial ownership transparency initiatives and reform efforts by engaging with key stakeholders.
- To raise awareness of beneficial ownership transparency reform and regulations for public and private sector and civil society.
- Partners are expected to be in regular communication with Beneficial Ownership Transparency Research Consultants who are examining the business case for beneficial ownership transparency for the private sector. The purpose of this research is to better understand which arguments might be usefully advanced in specific settings to drive BOT efforts (including nuances and caveats that may be important); and to identify and map (potential) stakeholder coalitions in collaboration with in-country actors.
