The Project aims to enhance the strategic engagement between the local private sector, independent media, public sector, and other stakeholders in efforts that support healthy information spaces. The Project started in December 2024 and will end in July 2025.
SCSA  supports the Government of Armenia in building effective streamlined, data-driven, and citizen-centered strategic communications systems, capacity, and practices.
The FOICA is responsible for the communication components of the JSS Project. The Project started in October 2022 and will end in September 2027.

58. Raising awareness of Armenia’s Beneficial Ownership Data

The primary goal of the Project to help OO deliver a series of training sessions for CSOs and journalists on BO concepts, definitions and data analysis, and a short awareness raising campaign to inform the public on the topic and Armenia’s BO legislation.

Activities

  1. Training sessions

Support organization of the BO related training sessions for CSOs.

  1. Awareness raising campaign
  • Draft a communication plan to share with OO and EITI outlining what advocacy and awareness raising materials/products will be developed, the strategy, key messages, where those will be shared and what the expected outcomes are.
  • Prepare information sheets summarising relevant information about Armenia’s BO regulation, current challenges, what data is publicly available, how to use it.
  • Print and distribute materials based on local needs and the consultant’s strategy.

The Project was supported by Open Ownership. The Project started on October 1st, 2021, and ended on 31 January 2022.
