The main goal of the project is to increase public awareness on circular economy by developing an information toolkit to support business community outreach, as well as the integration of the circular economy theme into media and higher education systems.
The goal of the project is to promote media transparency and bolster credibility and trust by supporting the effective adoption of JTI standards within Armenian news organizations. 
The Project aims to enhance the strategic engagement between the local private sector, independent media, public sector, and other stakeholders in efforts that support healthy information spaces. The Project started in December 2024 and will end in July 2025.

68. Empowering Media Professionals from Artsakh

The project is supported by The Reporters without Borders. The project started on 15 November 2023 and ended on 31 March 2024.

The project is focused on meeting the urgent requirements of media professionals and journalists affected by the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The main objective of the project is to empower the professional skills and capabilities of media representatives from Artsakh, who were forcibly displaced due to the Nagorno-Karabakh war in 2023. The project aims to provide comprehensive capacity-building support to help them resettle in Armenia and enhance their professional capacities ensuring their competitiveness.

The project consists of 2 stages:

1. Capacity-building training sessions in key areas:

  • Freedom of information and protection of personal data.
  • Fact-checking. development of skills to check the accuracy of information, identify fake news,
  • Open data analysis and use of open sources.

2. Mentorship and networking. During the mentorship, journalists will have the opportunity to refine their professional skills in creating journalistic content with the guidance of experts. The monetary compensation will be provided to each material.
