FOICA had addressed on March 20, 2013 to the RA Government with a written request to receive information and has received information about the funding allocated for NGOs from the RA state budget in 2010-2012.
According to the evidence provided by the Ministry of Finance on April 4, 2013, the Office to the RA President has envisaged roughly 500 million drams for funding NGOs during 2010-2013, of which 31 NGOs have received AMD 499.818.061 during those three years. Some of these NGOs received funding in two straight years, 2011 and 2012. For instance, Development and Integration NGO was financed 6 times during 2011-2012, with total of AMD 74 million and 978 thousand. By the way, this NGO has received the most amount of funding from the Office to the President during 2010-2012.
The next most financed NGOs are Yeritasardner Yerkir (Youth Country) and Arbanyak (Satellite), with AMD 27 million and 492 thousand and 27 million and 10 thousand, respectively. Interestingly, there is no information on the internet about the activity of these organizations.
