The Project started in March 2023 and ended in June 2024.

Project Objectives:

• To enhance the strategic engagement of local private sector stakeholders in efforts that combat disinformation.
• To facilitate cross-regional learning and thought leadership on the private sector’s role in combatting disinformation.

Project Activities:

• Develop an Action Plan to accompany the National Strategy to Combat Disinformation.
• Media literacy workshops for private sector representatives.
• Research to identify the major disinformation narratives and actors.
• Propose recommendations for how the public and private sectors can work together to minimize its spread and impact.
