The main goal of the project is to increase public awareness on circular economy by developing an information toolkit to support business community outreach, as well as the integration of the circular economy theme into media and higher education systems.
The goal of the project is to promote media transparency and bolster credibility and trust by supporting the effective adoption of JTI standards within Armenian news organizations. 
The Project aims to enhance the strategic engagement between the local private sector, independent media, public sector, and other stakeholders in efforts that support healthy information spaces. The Project started in December 2024 and will end in July 2025.

28. Journalistic award 2013 on coverage of illegal migration

The goal of the project was to encourage the coverage of issues about ongoing fight against illegal migration from RA as well as raising awareness among the potential migrants through mass media.

About 50 journalistic materials published from January 1, 2012 to January 31, 2013 were submitted to the contest announced beforehand.

The materials were rated by a professional jury comprised of national experts in migration issues and representatives of media organizations.

Freedom of Information Center NGO fulfilled the following actions:

  1. public awareness about the contest.
  2. reception and registration of the works submitted for the contest
  3. organization of works of the jury
  4. holding of awards ceremony and public awareness about it

Financial awards were granted to winners in all categories:

  • First Place- 1000 EUR
  • Second Place- 500 EUR
  • Third Place-300 EUR

The contest was jointly organized by the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration’s State Migration Service, the International Centre for Human development and Freedom of Information Center NGO with financial assistance from the Belgium Ministry of Internal Affairs.
